Happy Birthday Boys!

Today is my twins birthday. They are 16. They are so excited. We are going out for lunch and going to a near by town to do something fun, a movie or miniature golf depending on the weather. I would like to talk about who they are aside from their attachment disorder. So you can identify them I will call one Fish and one Bear. Fish is 6 ft tall now. He is an amazing young man who gives of himself so often. Just yesterday I received a compliment at the chiropractor. When we are in the waiting room and a woman comes in, if it is full my sons always offer the lady their seat. One particular older lady was so touched she wanted to make sure I knew. I did not say "Sure they are nice to everyone else. They are not nice to me." I want them to be nice to other people. So I just smiled and said thanks. Anyway, back to Fish. I picked Fish for him because he is a great swimmer. He swims laps 4 hours a day right now. He is ranked 8th in the state in the 100 back as a freshman. He likes to talk about politics, the news, and spiritual things. He is an excellent student and hopes to be an attorney some day in corporate law. He loves to laugh and is smiling and laughing much of the time. As for Bear he is harder to describe because he has hidden himself from me emotionally much of the time. I believe under the mask is an artistic, sensitive guy. His voice has been changing and he is growing like a weed. Last we checked he was 5'6" but that is about 5" in the last year. I would not be surprised if he were as tall as Fish by the end of this year. I think his medication has put him behind. He loves animals and would be great working with them. He'd love to be a park ranger or something where he was working outside and in nature. I understand this as I love the outdoors myself. If the college for this is unattainable I am sure we will be able to find something he can do so he can have that feeling of being outdoors! He was so excited to bring his art work home at the end of the year. I was a little nervous because I didn't know what I would say if it wasn't that great. He opened the portfolio and I thought it was beautiful. I have framed some of it and put it in his room. So Happy Birthday Boys. I love you with all my heart!

Sounds like they both have their own special niches where they can excel.
