Third Day

Fish and I went to the concert at the state fair last night and had a GREAT time. Their songs were uplifting and encouraging plus just plain fun. It is important not only to take time for ourselves. It is also important to take time alone with our emotionally healthy children. It gave us both a good boost, I think. I took the above photos from pretty far away with my little digital camera. Not to bad I don't think. It is a Cannon Elph.

I am so in love with Thirdday. And I am so happy you had a fun time. Wish I was there.

Did you see us leave? CRAZY night!! We got there at 5:30 and got great seats, sat there for until 7:15 when the opening band finally started, and within 30 seconds, I had 2 kids crying that it was too loud....and we left. Good thing it was free. :-) Glad you guys had a good time, though! So good to see you!!

We have a four year old that was placed with us at 18 months, we are his 7th home. He did not talk for the longest time, but anytime he heard Third Day he would sing along. The first thing I ever heard him say that wasn't "Mom" as a swear word was "Holy holy holy, Lord God Almighty" They will always be special to me.

Annie,

What a cool story. Have you ever written Third Day? I bet they would love to hear about that.
