Sunday Rest

I love Sundays. We go to church and sing worship songs. I hear a message of comfort, encouragement or instruction. I get to see my friends I may have not seen since last Sunday. I leave refreshed. The pace is slower at home too. There seems to never be anything scheduled for Sunday afternoons. It is easy to slow down and relax. God knew what He was doing when he rested on the 7th day. Well, of course God knew what He was doing, but you know what I mean. If your 4th of July weekend was rough take today to rest. Spend time alone with God and rejuvenate. You need it. We all do. We come home to suitcases of laundry, no food in the house and a ton of errands to be run. Those things have to be done but taking care of yourself after the rough weekend needs to be a priority. Have a healing day for yourself.

I'm glad to hear about your Sunday. We have been gone for 4, going on 5 years now and have yet to find a church home like you guys enjoy each week. Don't take it for granted...it is such a gift.
