Hee Hee Hee Haw Haw

The song below has gone through my mind several times over the last few days! Poor Eagle received noticed 2 days before she moved in that her "fully furnished apartment" would not have a bed. She is currently sleeping on the couch while she searches for one. She has been given a queen size bed frame! : )

Our car guy had a car all picked out for me, a maroon '08 Pontiac g6. I was so excited. I looked at them online so I could see what it would look like. I called with great anticipation to see if I could come and get it last night to hear his sad voice say "I didn't get it." He drove 3 hours to pick it up. When he and the dealer walked out to the car it had been hit by another car. Neither of the two were happy. I was really disappointed but...

told Taz today that we needed to look at it as God's protection. That was not the car for me so we should be thankful it did not work out.

Today my car guy calls to say he is leaving this week to pick up some cars. He will be picking up a red '07 Pontiac g6 for me. It is a year older but has even less miles than the first. I'm trying to just be nonchalant about the whole thing until I have those keys in my hand. Since so many of you have prayed with me about this I will assume this is the one God has in mind! So THANKS!

Just for fun check out the video below!! Play it over on a bad day and it might just make you smile in spite of it all!

Gloom, despair and agony on me . . . my daughter's reaction to the simplest words such as "take a sweater with you it is supposed to be chilly today." Such a statement is instantly followed by a hangdog look.

Had an interesting weekend away with DH and littlest DD to Minnesota. The entire trip the only person who existed in the car was my DH . . ."daddy" this and "daddy" that. . . even when he reminded her there were two people in the car and she has two parents . . .that statement would be met with silence and the background music from the GameBoy.

So since he was the only one along on the trip, when we stopped to take a photo of the bluffs, I asked 'daddy' to pose in front of them for me . . . more gloom and despair because DD was not included in the photo . . .she also had a 'stomach ache' for at least a half hour during our drive, so when we stopped for ice cream, daddy was the only one to get some. I declined and DD was instructed to lie down some more to help her suddenly not-so-sore stomach to feel better.

I will never forget once when we were at Attachment therapy and the therapist asked Taz who came with him today. My husband and I were sitting there. He said "My dad." So I totally get what you are saying. Mom's are dangerous in their minds and closeness to us cannot be risked. It runs so deep.

I'll pray for your new car. Good way to look at these missed chances. I'm going the the same thing and am excited to see what God provides. Had a near miss Saturday when I went to test drive a car I called about, by the time I got there, the car was sold.

God has the perfect car for you.

I am sorry I thought I posted this on the other header you had, forgot to say anything about the car or Eagle's search for a bed. Hope that works out all right and you find a proper vehicle.
