Saturday I decided it was much to beautiful a day to be inside. Children with RAD have trouble finding the beauty in a day. I decided Taz and I should go for a walk. We walked down by the river a few blocks from our house. His job was to look for beautiful things for me to take pictures of. He started off having a hard time but was really good at it by the time we were done.
Deer tracks
Our neighbors tree
We need to teach our children to find the beauty in every day. Sometimes we even have to remind ourselves to find it : )

Great post Brenda! I love looking for beauty and so does J. I have got to make myself start taking pictures. A whole week at the beach and I took 4 pictures. I am so lame....
What a great idea, to have Taz look for the beautiful things you could photograph! Hope it's ok I"m going to borrow this idea for my girl!
Beautiful pics! You may not have the ocean waves you saw on my blog, but we don't have your gorgeous fall leaves.
Thanks for the kind comment on my blog Bren. Hey! Nice pics here. I like old barns too. Thanks for sharing girl. See ya!!
you are an AMAZING photographer! you did that thing i want to be able to do! the blurry backround, clear subject thing! what camera do you have? AWESOME! love the leaf pic.
I hope Taz picked the father/daughter shot. That is a wonderful thing to find beauty in.
Awwwww...Thanks Brenda!!! You are so sweet and thoughtful! I love all the pics and wonder how many more hidden talents you are going to surprise us with!?! :)
Thanks for the kind words all. I'm afraid Taz did not pick the father daughter shot. He told me not to take a picture of them. It was weird. My camera is a Cannon Elph. I'm still learning how to use the features. It is easy to take good pictures when you are working with such beautiful scenery.
