Rainy days and Mondays always get her down. :)

But I your assessment makes sense. We have experienced that in the past. We had a very successful Spring Break vacation and she called CPS to come pick her up after we got home. She really would have moved out if they would have let her. She said "It's not you, I've just been here long enough. That's what I do - I move." So you are probably correct that the closeness makes her want to retreat.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3134242791095743131.post-5569141119402394302009-05-11T12:29:00.000-05:002009-05-11T12:29:00.000-05:00Sometimes after a really close family time mine wi...Sometimes after a really close family time mine will be upset the next day. She also had a disrupted adoption before coming to our home. We believe she is healing and cautiosly attaching. But for whatever it is worth, she woke up mean as a snake this morning. oh well - we just celebrate the good times!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3134242791095743131.post-24582397847394768572009-05-11T07:15:00.000-05:002009-05-11T07:15:00.000-05:00I'm so glad Anon A!!! It may be that she just has some attachment issues and not full blown RAD.Brendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05811548306583601019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3134242791095743131.post-61360684099253818292009-05-10T22:44:00.000-05:002009-05-10T22:44:00.000-05:00Anon A here :)

Maybe the past 4 years without a mom made her really excited to get to participate with the school project and such. Who knows - she did not mention bio mom one single time. So we will save planting a bush in bio mom's honor for another time. Or she is really just not ready to deal with all of that yet. We have a lot of trauma work to do still when she is ready. But for this year, we had a pretty great mother's day. Yeah!

My bio kids (18 & 16) were pretty great too. I am a very blessed woman!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
