It's hard to be both compassionate toward him and keep myself safe, both physically and emotionally.Teen RAD Mom in NVnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3134242791095743131.post-8940545029950557052010-02-16T08:11:00.435-06:002010-02-16T08:11:00.435-06:00Brenda, I would love to hear more about putting up...Brenda, I would love to hear more about putting up a front and then falling apart at the end of the day. We have homeschooled our children for most of their school years -- we now cyberschool 6 of the 8 -- with 2 in public school. It became necessary to put our oldest in public school because her behavior here all day was very distracting to everyone else (adopted from Russia at age 7, currently 16, RAD and PTSD). So, now, she keeps it together for 9 hours and when she gets home, she is a bear! Any suggestions for helping her to cope and manage the stress? Thanks! ~ Beth (PS -- I'm the tired mom in PA!)bylerbunchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16296880992686543328noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3134242791095743131.post-5736624201758578682010-02-15T21:54:35.095-06:002010-02-15T21:54:35.095-06:00Miz Kizzle,

At a recent ER visit after a suicide threat, she told the doctor that she's been mad "forever." It's true. It's exhausting. It's so challenging.

Tired mom in PAAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3134242791095743131.post-43212972828712873162010-02-11T10:50:55.500-06:002010-02-11T10:50:55.500-06:00Hang in there, you are doing a great job and are p...Hang in there, you are doing a great job and are pure inspiration to me.LemonyRenee'https://www.blogger.com/profile/07200070770150819952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3134242791095743131.post-52422716708942551512010-02-11T08:48:55.266-06:002010-02-11T08:48:55.266-06:00I can feel your exhaustion from here . . . hang in...I can feel your exhaustion from here . . . hang in there.
